Almost done...

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 1:10 PM
I'm gonna need a job soon. Exams are nearly over. Thinking about working in retail, I'm done with hospitality jobs for a while.

Hair, again.

Thu Oct 22, 2009, 1:45 AM
One of the people who often sits just in front of me in plant biology has hair just like Delirium, from Neil Gaiman's Sandman.

On another related note I saw a man wandering down the street that had been sadly parasitized by a beard. While the rest of the man looked sickly and pale, drained of colour and life. The beard was luxuriant and glossy, bursting with colour.

Now I don't normally plug people but in this case I can't help it go and give this gallery a gander

Totally worth it!

Thing-dogs

Sat Oct 10, 2009, 2:32 AM
I saw one of these today... [link]

Or it could have been one of these...[link]

And yes, they are different breeds of dog-things as well as being the same kind of dog things. I guess they could be called dogs, they trot along on the end of leaches pretty well and wear that dog expression on their faces, you know the one that looks as if they have been banged over the head with a rubber mallet. Not that I dislike dogs at all, to the contrary I love dogs. I have a fondness for kelpies, blue heelers and rottweillers, but I digress.

Maddest thing I ever saw, buy mad I mean loopy. When I first saw it I thought for some bizarre reason it was a furry, black lipped and long legged crocodile. Understandably I am a little disappointed that it turned out not to be a new kind of miniature, all weather and house breakable alligator that you could keep in your home. I guess we see the things we want to see.
I feel a critter brewing...

Pretty Lady with an Urn and Mans riding Dolphins

Tue Oct 6, 2009, 11:18 PM
Every time I walk past the fountain in Albert Park it just begs me to get in. Despite the fact that the greensman would probably try to hit me with a rake, despite that all the people will think I was even stranger than they first thought I was and despite it would be brass monkey's in there, I still can't shake off the idea of having a wee dip.

Maybe later when it warms up a bit?
