Description

Out of the darkness she came, snatching up her prey. The squid let out a burst of ink in its last moment it's companions jetted away...

Ophthalmosaurs spp.

An Ichthyosaur of the Middle to Late Jurassic period (165 to 145 million years ago), named for its extremely large eyes. It had a graceful 6 meter long dolphin-shaped body, and its almost toothless jaw was well adapted for catching squid. Major fossil finds of this species have been recorded in Europe, North America and Argentina. Thanks Wikipedia, saviour of the half-arsed!

Some species have more teeth than others. Not entirely sure what species this is... I'll have to look it up. In any case I was inspired by a book about prehistorical sea serpents.

Pencil! 'Cos I can do traditional stuff.
